Under the guidance of Director General Prof.(Dr.) Narender Sharma, Department of Agad Tantra evum Vyavharayurveda of Motherhood Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital Roorkee organized a one day trip of B.A.M.S batch 2020-21 to Snake Park, Dehradun on 14th December 2023. The trip was lead by Prof.and H.O.D. (Agad Tantra evum Vyavharayurveda ) Dr.Geeta Joshi along with Dr.Deepshikha Raturi(Assistant professor), Dr. Priyanka Panchola ( Assistant professor, Balrog Department) and Mr.Sohan lal(Physiotherapist).
Educational trips are great way to enhance the learning experience of students so the site choosen was Snake park at Dehradun.
There students learnt about how to identify snakes in morphological basis. they also get to see ‘big four’ snake group of India and learnt their natural behaviour. Students also participated in “Drug Free Devbhoomi Campaign” and created awareness by distributing pamphlets to general public present there and made them aware about harmful effects of drugs.
The trip ended with good food and music.
