As they say “Playing sports teaches us how to win honourably, lose gracefully, respecting authorities,managing time and maintaining health”. Considering this, Motherhood Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital Roorkee organized annual three day sports meet “Pratispardha 2024” from 29th Feb 2024-2nd March 2024.Programme was inaugurated by Director General Prof (Dr.) Narender Sharma , Director Administrator Deepak Sharma in the presence of Principal Prof.(Dr.) Mayank Jain and all the faculty members. The air crackled with excitement as the sports meet started with Parade March and releasing balloons in the sky.Students from all batches took participation in different outdoor and indoor games and enhances their sportsmanship skills. Students and faculties were excited and cheered for their respective teams.
On the final day, prize distribution was done by Shri.Anuj Sinha (IPS and ADG Administration/FSL, Uttarakhand) in which Vipin and team (Batch 2019-20) were winner in Volleyball match where as Ankit and team (2021-22) were Runner up.
In Kho-Kho( Girls), Anyayda and team from batch 2022-23 were winners and Akanksha and team from batch 2023-24 were Runner up.
In Badminton, Boys single, Vijay (2019-20)was winner and Shadab(2020-21) was runner up and in Girls Single, Pooja(2021-22) was winner and Poorva(2019-20) was runner up
In Badminton doubles, Vijay and Deepanshu (2019-20) were winners and Abhishek and Jitendra (2023-24) were Runner up.
In carrom (Boys) Shadab and Akash(2021-22) were winners and Aftab and Ayush (2022-23) were Runner up
In Chess(boys) Rajneesh(2022-23) was winner and Aviral (2019-20) was runner up.
