To honor the legacy of one of Ayurveda’s most revered sages, Acharya Maharishi Charaka, the Department of Saṃhitā, Siddhānta, and Sanskrit at Motherhood Ayurveda College organized a vibrant celebration of Maharishi Charaka Jayanti on 29th July 2025.
The event commenced with the auspicious Deep Prajwalan (lamp lighting) ceremony, led by Professor Narendra Sharma, Director General and Vice Chancellor, along with Principal Professor Dr. Mayank Jain and Vice Principal Dr. Piyush Kapil.
The program was also graced by following dignitaries from the department:

- Dr. Reeta Sharma, Reader
- Dr. Gaurav Kumar Jain, Lecturer
- Dr. Nitin Ranakoti, Lecturer
Faculty members from various departments and a large number of enthusiastic students also attended, adding to the event’s vibrancy and academic spirit.

- Quiz Competition: An engaging quiz aimed at deepening students' knowledge of classical Ayurvedic texts and principles.
Prize Distribution
The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where Principal Professor Dr. Mayank Jain awarded medals and certificates to the winners of the quiz competition, recognizing their dedication and scholarly enthusiasm.
This celebration served not only as a heartfelt tribute to Acharya Maharishi Charaka, but also as a powerful reminder of the timeless relevance of classical wisdom in shaping modern Ayurvedic education.
