Herbal wisdom in Bloom
By the Motivation of respected Director general Prof Dr Narendra Sharma sir, Department of Dravyaguna, Motherhood Ayurveda Medical College, Roorkee Organized a one day trip for the batch of 2022-23 to Patanjali Herbal Garden , Haridwar on 29.08.2025.
The purpose of this visit was to provide practical exposure to the students regarding the identification and utility of various medicinal plants. The visit was coordinated under the guidance of Prof.(Dr.) Kanu ohri, Dr.Ranjana Jaisingh (Associate prof.), Dr. Swati Jagotra (Assistant Prof.) and Mr.Lokesh Dauriyal (Chief Pharmacist).
During the visit, the students observed a wide range of herbs and gained valuable insights into their therapeutic significance as described in classical Ayurvedic texts. PRI assistant, Mr.Prashant guided the students in understanding the importance of conservation, cultivation, and clinical applications of medicinal plants.
This educational visit proved to be an enriching experience, helping to strengthen the connection between theoretical learning and practical knowledge in the field of Ayurveda.
