On 26th September, the students of the 2022 batch of Motherhood Ayurveda Medical College (MAMC) visited the Snake Park, Dehradun as part of an educational trip organized under NCISM guidelines.
The visit was held under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Narendra Sharma (Director General) and Prof. Dr. Piyush Kapil (Principal), with supervision by faculty from the Agad Tantra, Dravya Guna, and Swasthvrit departments – including Prof. & HOD Dr. Geeta Joshi, Prof. & HOD Dr. Kanu Ohri, Dr. Deepshikha Raturi, Dr. Swati Jagotra, and Dr. Nitin Kumar.
Students gained practical exposure to the morphological study of snakes and explored various plant species under the Dravya Guna department’s guidance. They also conducted an awareness campaign promoting “Drug-free Devbhoomi” among tourists.
The trip successfully combined theoretical learning with hands-on experience, enriching students’ knowledge and social responsibility.
