On the occasion of the 10th International Yoga Day, celebrated on 15th May 2025, the students of Motherhood Ayurveda Medical College came together to actively participate in a series of yoga-related activities focused on promoting holistic physical and mental well-being.
The day began with a group yoga session led by experienced instructors, where students practiced various asanas and breathing techniques (pranayama) emphasizing the core principles of harmony between mind and body. The event highlighted the importance of incorporating yoga into daily life to enhance concentration, reduce stress, and build a healthier lifestyle.
Interactive workshops and discussions were also held to educate participants on the ancient roots of yoga in Ayurveda and its relevance in modern healthcare. The students demonstrated great enthusiasm, showcasing their understanding and dedication to the age-old discipline.
Speaking on the occasion, faculty members encouraged the students to continue embracing yoga as a lifelong practice and appreciated their active involvement in making the event a success.
The celebration reflected the spirit of wellness and unity, aligning perfectly with the college’s mission of nurturing a balanced and conscious way of life through Ayurvedic wisdom.
मदरहुड आयुर्वेद मेडिकल काॅलेज एवं हाॅस्पिटल, रुड़की में 10वें अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस एवं 100 दिवसीय काउंटडाउन कार्यक्रम, के अंतर्गत दिनांक 15 मई 2025 को योग पोस्टर प्रतियोगिता का सफलतापूर्वक आयोजन किया गया, जिसमें काॅलेज के सभी विभागों से कुल 80 छात्र-छात्राओं ने रजिस्ट्रेशन किया था एवं 38 छात्र-छात्राओं ने प्रतिभाग किया।
मेडिकल कॉलेज के महानिदेशक प्रो०(डॉ०) नरेंद्र शर्मा ने इस आयोजन की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि यह प्रतियोगिता छात्रों एवं समाज को योग के महत्व से जोड़ते हुए उच्च जीवन-शैली की प्रेरणा देती है। छात्र-छात्राओं में से प्रथम, द्वितीय एवं तृतीय स्थान के लिए प्रतिभागियों का चयन निर्णायक मंडल प्रो०(डॉ०) एस० सी० पचैारी (संकायाध्यक्ष, शिक्षा विभाग, मदरहुड विश्वविद्यालय) एवं प्रो० (डॉ०) मयंक जैन, प्रधानाचार्य, मदरहुड आयुर्वेदिक मेडिकल कॉलेज व हॉस्पिटल, रुड़की द्वारा किया गया। चयनित 05 प्रतिभागियों को निर्णायक मंडल द्वारा टैग एवं क्राउन देकर उनका उत्साहवर्धन किया गया।
मेडिकल काॅलेज एवं हास्पिटल स्तर पर डॉ० रितेश कुमार (समन्वयक), सचिव डॉ० मोनिका चैाधरी एवं डाॅ0 नितिन सहित सभी विभागों के समन्वयकों एवं शिक्षकों द्वारा आयोजन को सफल बनाने में सराहनीय भूमिका निभाई।
कार्यक्रम के दौरान स्वस्थवृत्त विभाग के संकायाध्यक्ष प्रो० (डॉ०) सरोज कुमार सिंह का मार्गदर्शन प्राप्त हुआ।
डाॅ0 कार्तिक नायडु, चीफ एडमिन एवं हेमन्त कपूर, आई०टी०हैड एवं विवेक कुमार ने आयोजन में सहयोग प्रदान किया जिससे यह कार्यक्रम सफल हुआ।
