MAMC celebrated the 79th Independence Day with immense pride and patriotic fervor. The celebration began with the flag hoisting ceremony, where Director General Prof. Dr. Narendra Sharma unfurled the national flag in the presence of Principal Prof. Dr. Mayank Jain, Vice Principal Prof. Dr. Piyush Kapil, faculty members, non-teaching staff, and students. The atmosphere was filled with patriotic emotion as everyone joined in singing the national anthem.
In his address, Director General Prof. Dr. Narendra Sharma spoke about the importance of national unity and pride, emphasizing the significance of the Tiranga as a symbol of India’s strength and freedom. His words inspired the gathering to uphold the values of dedication and responsibility towards the nation.
As part of the celebrations, a quiz competition was organized on August 14 for the students of MAMC. The event saw enthusiastic participation, and the winners were felicitated with appreciation certificates and gifts by the Director General. The celebrations also included a spirited Tiranga Rally, in which students and faculty members marched from the MAMC campus in Roorkee, waving national flags and chanting patriotic slogans. The rally reflected the collective enthusiasm and love for the nation, creating an atmosphere of unity and pride across the campus.
